Tammy Ijiti
When asked about her greatest motivator throughout life, Tammy Ijiti reflected upon her childhood and dedicated that title to her mother. Her mom was a consistent support system in her life and always found a way to encourage Tammy to pursue her ambitions, practice self-love and self-care. Tammy carried this inspiration into adulthood earning two Bachelor of Science degrees and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA). Tammy became an expert in finance and spent 20+ years serving in corporate America.
A defining moment in a clothing store led Tammy into the skincare industry. In her words, “A beautiful older woman with flawless skin caught my eyes. Her skin was noticeably radiant and had a natural glow. I summed up enough courage to compliment her and ask about her skin care routine. Following a lengthy discussion of self-care and skin care, I was not only enlightened, but inspired to start a skin care line.”
From that conversation, Tammy learned the importance of starting a skincare regimen early in life. Research has shown that as collagen production in our bodies begins to decrease in our late-twenties, we begin to lose the component that makes our skin elastic, supple, full, plump and radiant. Without proper care, the decrease of collagen can start to cause fine lines, wrinkles, dryness, blotchiness, age spots, and other unpleasant signs of aging! It is therefore important to engage in intentional and targeted skincare early to slow down the aging process or to replenish our skin supply of collagen that has been lost. Tammy also learned the power of nature in skin care, there is so much in nature that can heal and revitalize the skin. Get back to nature and transform your skincare routine.
That one interesting encounter and conversation piqued Tammy's curiosity in skin care. This led to years of research, and now the birth of TUJGLOW SKINCARE.
